Thank you for your interest in our Aerial Photography and Video service. As an FAA certified remote pilot we strongly adhere to the regulations set forth from the FAA. We log every commercial flight, so before we can proceed any further we need this agreement filled out. Please read the following three main factors that must be met before we fly.
#1 – Weather.
- Weather conditions must be suitable for small aircraft usage.
- We will not fly in windy conditions greater than 18 mph or gusts greater than 18 mph.
- We will not fly in rain or fog.
#2- Area Obstructions.
- We must be able to keep line of sight of the aircraft at all times.
- We do not fly around or near power-lines, big trees or any other thing that might hinder the flight.
#3 – Air Space.
- We do not fly higher than 400 ft.
- Depending on where your location is will determine in which airspace we are flying.
- If we are flying in class G airspace we will not need special clearance.
- If we are flying in any other airspace we will need permission from the tower regulating that specific airspace before we can fly.
- Also we check prior to every flight with the FAA to see if there are no restrictions, no temp. fly zones and that we are all clear for takeoff.
